Ashley was born 2 months early weighing 2 pounds 8 oz. Her stay in the ICU lasted a month. The parents were told that her heart would require surgery Christmas Day. Her parents went to the hospital on Christmas Day, they were advised by the doctor that her closed heart. Ashley didn't require any surgery. She was released to go to her home in the weight range of 4 1/2 pounds following being in hospital for 2 months. She is now healthy. She is of English, German and Irish ancestry. Her mother's family from Ireland is where she comes from. Her first appearance as an actor was an advertisement for the Salon Surprise Barbie Doll from 2002. Ashley was then approached by The Ford Modeling Agency at the age of 8. Ashley has been steadily working at the Ford Modeling Agency for many years. Ashley wanted to become an actress at the young age of just 10. Ashley acted in 35 commercials. Later, she moved onto theatrical roles. Ashley is now a zealous for acting. Ashley has given her complete focus to acting. Modeling and dancing were left out. Ashley's last role on ABC Family Pretty Little Liars was as "Hanna Marin". Ashley had a short cameo appearance in the music video for "True Love" from Romeo Miller, aka Lil Romeo and Solange. Britney Spears was her co-star in an Vogue Magazine photoshoot. She is featured on the soundtrack video "That Girl" by NLT.
